Technical information

Our cable lift containers are built to the highest quality standards and just like all of our other products, they meet CHEM's TS8 standard. By sourcing the best materials and owning the complete production process from our own Midlands-based facility, we promise a hard-wearing cable lift roll on roll off skip for all our customers.

Our cable lift roro's range from 15 cubic yards up to 55 cubic yards in size and our experienced team are able to recommend the right size for your requirements. We offer our cable lift skips in the common 20 yard roll on roll off skip and 40 yard roll on roll off skip sizes. If you have more bespoke sizing requirements our in-house CAD department will design your cable lift skip using the latest in CAD technology, SolidWorks.

Although still used by some, cable lift skips are becoming less and less common due to most vehicles now being fitted with the hook-load system. If you own a hooklift vehicle, please check out our Hook lift body.

1. What is the difference between a hook lift roll on roll off skip and a cable lift roll on roll off skip?

Our hook lift bodies are designed to be loaded on to any hook lift truck, whereas our cable lift bodies are designed to be loaded onto your truck using the cable lift system. We can also cater for more requirements with our hook and cable lift bodies, which are designed to be universal and work with both hook lift and cable lift trucks.
